One of the first things I booked when I moved to Los Angeles four years ago was an HBO pilot. It never got picked up, but I remember the audition like it was yesterday. I had a pounding headache and was tired having been on a 5 hour flight from Miami. I didn't expect to get the part what with the competition being all famous B and C listers. Wanting to do something I never did, I decided to let it all hang out with no expectation and no self doubt. It was then that I realized that it was okay to be in an imaginary circumstance in a scene, but it does us no justice to create imaginary circumstances in life that only drive away our dreams.

Special Skills
Moving to the United States from Haiti as a younger kid seemed to put me at a disadvantage here in the states. I spoke one language at home and another at school, but the culture was always different. I'd alway try to fit in. That constant desire to want to fit in turned out to be a great thing in the end, allowing me to be skilled in many areas such as beat boxing, singing, rapping, sports and guitar. All with a second language to support me.
